Deciding between i7-4710HQ or i7-4510U + GTX 850m 4GB for a

So I’m in a bit of a predicament. I’m getting my laptop replaced by HP after a mishap with their repair department. I am looking for advise on what is the better option when it comes to processing power and graphics. Both options don’t seem perfect in this situation. I have a desktop for the heavy lifting, but I go on the road a fair amount and what to keep working as much as possible. I use my laptop for mainly these 3 things:

  1. Music Publishing - Finale 2014. This is my livelihood. Uses VST instruments.
  2. Music Production - Cubase 7.5 and Pro Tools with a decent amount of VST instrument use.
  3. Gaming - The types of game tittles I play include Batman: Arkham Origins, The Binding of Issac, Bioshock Infinite, Civilization 5, etc.
  4. Simple Video Production - Mostly editing video down. Not much correction done. Adobe Premiere.

Here are the specs of the two models they are offering me:

The specs are the same in both except for the processor.

I know both are newer models than I currently have, but my laptop was specifically built to handle the above tasks.

Any advice you can give me?

Thank you in advance.
