default text size - quick question

Hi all,
I’m trying to speed up my capo chord work-around. I’ve tried to match the text styles of shift-x text entry to the default chord symbol text. I assume " shift-x text is the engrave->font styles->default text.

Changes I make there are not reflected. Shift-x still defaults to 11.9 font size.

Does anyone have insight into what I’m missing?

Better to create your own paragraph style and then assign it as a default to the SHIFT+X text dialog. Then you can alter the paragraph style to have the font and size parameters you like.

I’m pretty sure the Default Text style you want to be editing is the one in Paragraph Styles, not Font Styles.
