The standard vst plugins are looking like this now…
See photo. It is somekind of list-mode…
Did I hit a wrong button or is it an update problem?
I just updated to the latest cubase 15 pro
Click the arrow next to the camera icon and select “Switch to Plug-in Editor”.
If that doesn’t work, a quick reinstall of Cubase may help, (you won’t lose any settings). Sometimes, it is advised to run the installer as Admin. (Not sure of your system and OS).
This means running the installer as Admin, not running Cubase as Admin.
If that option still does not exist, do a quick forum search for “plug-in stuck in generic interface”, (or similar).
OK so please follow the other steps mentioned.
from your user name it do not sound like you use French Cubase as there was a bug for those users in latest version.
normally the solutions are as mentioned earlier. Try a re-install first, if not reset the preferences.
I uninstalled cubase 15 with the windows remove program function and reinstalled with Steinberg download assistant…. That fixed the problem.
Thanx again Phil…
My pleasure, glad you got it sorted.
