Is there a difference between how much was shown (default length/zoom factor) while recording in WL13 compared to WL12?

If you mean the recording view, no, there is no change and the zoom factor is the one of the audio montage. It can be changed.

For a new montage in WL12, zoom factor is 1 minute. On creating a new montage in WL13, zoom factor default/maximum value is 1 second 100 ms.

Above you can see comparison.
Test - create a new montage in WL13. The new track opened display only 11 seconds. In WL12 this was 60 seconds.
The difference can be noticed when you record into a new montage where the recording takes screen space very soon compared to WL12.
