Hey Team
I just updated to 6.1 and in a current project I use continuous glissandos in the trombones with a delayed start. Since the update these gliss behave very strangely. They gliss happens only on the second note and is a gliss back to the first note of the gliss.
I experimented a bit further and found that this only happens when a note after the gliss is longer than the next bar and “Delay“ in Settings is not enabled and defined.
I am also having a new issue with glissando playback in 6.1. When I previously had a glissando going in one direction, the playback would start on the first note, then gliss to the second note as expected. With the upgrade to 6.1, the gliss behaves correctly during the initial gliss, then it bends back up to the starting pitch when the notation stays on the arrival note. I’ve attached an excerpt for horn. The gliss starts on the notated G-flat, then glisses to F. However, instead of staying on the F, it glisses back up to G-flat even though this isn’t notated. (It is a bit like someone took their hand off the MIDI pitch bend wheel instead of holding it at the new pitch.)
I’m having the same issue on 6.1 with NotePerformer 5. I must add that my project worked perfectly fine in the last version before 6.1. I’m currently experiencing backwards playback, no playback and regular playback only in a few glissandi.
I’m having the same issue using Halion Sonic 5. A violin glissando starts well but then when the second note is reached it bends back to the first note. This can be seen in the pitch bend graph. Any workaround for this?
Update: I managed to correct one glissando with a 3/8 delay.
