Delete Midi Notes Selected not Track

Hi guys,

Running into an issue where my delete key no longer works for deleting just a selection of notes. I use macOS and the delete key seems to remove the midi for the whole track rather than just the selection in the editor.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Hi and welcome,

To me it sounds like to focus is not in the Key Editor anymore, but it’s in the Project area instead. Please, make sure, the white focus frame is in the Key Editor (Lower Zone or the window).

Thanks Martin, that was the issue! My editor doesn’t seem to pop out and had to open it manually (view → open editor) for me to delete midi notes.
