How do I delete an unwanted flow number in the parts. The number 1. doesn’t show up in the score or in the violin part, but it does in the viola and cello parts. Also, even though I have inputted the arranger information it doesn’t show up anywhere.

Hi @StephenBurch, set Show flow headings: For all flows in Layout Options, or to Never, depending on which result you want. Select all your layouts on the right before changing this option. (Now it seems you have mixed setting for one of the flows):
Regarding the flow numbers you have to go to Layout Options > Page Setup > Flows, then select all layouts and set Show flow headings to Never
Regarding showing the arranger: For both the score and the parts edit the First page template in Engrave Mode and add the arranger token in one of the text fields.
Thanks for the info. I did not know where to find the Arranger token, so I just went into each part and added the arranger info separately. And I did set flow headings to Never, but the 1. still showed up in the viola and cello parts, so I went to Engrave and deleted it for each part. In subsequent arrangements I’m sure I’ll figure it out. (Ha ha, and I can see that need to read the title of the post before sending it: “flow” not “fow”.)
Hi @StephenBurch, if it could be of any help, here a post with a video on how to create the arranger token. It shows also how to remove the page overrides that you have created editing the layout directly, instead of the Page template:
Then you did not select the viola and cello layouts on the right side as shown in Christian’s screenshot.
Thanks everyone.
