I’m not sure how to delete an insert once it’s in place. Any suggestions? Thanks
Right hand side of the slot, click and select the top option which I think says none, I’m not in front of my computer at present!

grab it, drag out of the box to the side. first time a message will pop up; do you want to delete insert. tick box to avoid seeing again (at least in this project, until next time you open Cubase when it forgets).
Yes, drag to empty space.
click on it and hit delete.
With an apple mouse, aim for the right triangle button, hit it and then scroll that wheel up to the top, click none.
