In the first picture I’ve highlighted where I will type Shift B and input -1.
I’d expect the 3/4 governing the following bar to come along with it’s contents but the second picture shows it doesn’t.
Is this expected behavior?
This is a bit of a tricky issue. We still have some work to do in this area. I think I probably agree with you that the time signature should be moved, but there’s some debate as to exactly what the end of the range you’re deleting really is: did we just delete the contents of the bar, or the bar itself? I would expect that we will see some changes in the behaviour of this functionality as we rethink some of our initial decisions.
Thanks Daniel. I tend to think of deleting the “contents” of a bar as deleting the notes but still leaving an empty bar with a bar rest for which we have a delete key. The command “delete bar” implies, at least me, the entire bar. Just my thinking anyway.
