It’s been awhile since I’ve tried to do this in Cubase and I can’t really find a way if I’ve trimmed a load of audio regions , is there a function to make the trims destructive ?
Thx
Andy

Render selection?
You can set it to “As Separate Events” mode: Steinberg
You could also look into “minimize file” in the Pool.
Or “Audio→Bounce Selection”, which will keep the original file but replace the event with the new, bounced, one.
Thanks, I know that, I was looking for a way to clean up audio. Not create more files ,
Asking for destructive editing and not willing to accept it leads to more files…
That is an April fool thing? Right?
No you can remove the start and end of audio file / regions in Logic and ProTools
I’m not talking about splitting up audio , I talking about trim the start and end ! If you can’t do that fine, I’m just asking incase I forgot how to do it thx
Would you like to continue the discussion with Steffen or would you rather minimze your files now?
Thanks Johnny, that’s exactly what I was looking for. I thought I had done it before, but I couldn’t remember the term, and I was even looking in the pool.
