I have to drive a total of 33 Compressor Gain Reduction meters from external MIDI and I’m concerned about the data throughput rate coming into the DAW. Is there any hook available within the VST specification to tell you when a VST panel is open or closed? If I can detect this, then I only have to send the MIDI for those panels which are opened at any one time.
