I used to resample my Virus TI and other stuff by sending it to a group and than selecting that group as the input on a different track. that seems to be no longer possible, all that shows up as inputs on tracks is buses, am I missing something ?
Create an extra bus in the output section in the VST Connections window and then you can select that as an input for resampling.

Indeed I am, posted a little immaturely there. I opened a different project and I was able to simply select a group as an input, not sure why that wasnt an option in the other project though.
making an extra output in VST connections (now called Audio connections) is a valid workaround though
