Difference in audio processing between Cubase 13 and Cubase 15?

Hello, I work on Cubase Pro 13 and have Cubase 15 trial version. Testing on a new prod on Cubase 15, I load the project in Cubase 13 and eared a big difference in the sound. So I have exported another old project done entirely in Cubase 13 in wav format. Load the same project in Cubase 15 and direct export in wav format (I have the same tuning in the two platform - buffer size - sample rate etc …). And I load the 2 wav in a blank project in Cubase 15 and inverted the phase on the Cubase 13 wav. I have audible difference so the 2 wav are not the same. Here is the wav export of the differences: Stream Cubase 15 - 13 avec inversion de phase sur la 13 by Art63 | Listen online for free on SoundCloud

There should be no difference. Do not try to do a polarity invert test on a full mix as you are likely going to have processors which will render differently each time (e.g. modulation).

If you want to do a polarity inversion test use static audio files without any effects and that should confirm there is no difference between the two.

Hi, yes you are right. From a wav without plugin the export is exactly the same. I have tested also the same wav export with just the same EQ plugin (copy/paste the plugin parameters) : the 13 & 15 exports are exactly the same.

Stick with 13! 15 is very buggy, laggy and slow for the moment, at least form me, on 2 different systems and one clean install of everything
