I have a question I have an AXR4 and in Cubase I put direct monitoring. When I record a track I put the fader at 0 dBs and adjust the gain. The volume level is higher while I record (approx 14 DB) than when I play it. I know I can raise the fader that difference but it seems somewhat uncomfortable. I can also insert the ch strip and lower the 14 dbs. But it doesn’t seem logical to me, is there any way to compensate for that difference between recording and playback?
