Differing Sample Rates creating audio files out of tune

I run Windows 10 Home on an HP Envy Laptop
I use Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 interface
I use Cubase LE AI Elements 10

When exporting tracks, which use audio files that I’ve recorded on either or acoustic or electric guitars (using the focusrite interface) I’m having issues with the tracks. They will sound sharp by a semitone or two when they’ve been exported and often when I go back in to Cubase to edit them. I’ve read numerous articles and tried to fix it myself by ensuring that all sample rates are the same (across windows, cubase and interface) but it makes no difference.

I can’t fix this problem, rendering Cubase utterly useless. I would appreciate any help advising what sample rates I should be using and how I change them. My patience has run out and I’m on the verge of purchasing a brand new macbook - I never had a single issue with anything such as this, having used Logic for many years before.

Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome,

Let Cubase resample the files once they are imported to the project. Or resample them from the Pool.
