Difficulty with AUv3 not loading

First, is it a requirement that target and OutputName arguments to smtg_add_auv3() be similar or the same? I was having trouble with my AUv3 being recognized by auval until I named these the same.

Now that auval started recognizing the AUv3, the following assertions are showing up and auval is hanging:

Have you seem this before or have any ideas about what could be happening?

Sorry never seen this before. Which macOS version, arm64 or x86_64 etc?

Hi Arne,

I’m on Mojave. The assertions are also showing up when running the NoteExpressionSynth but it is not hanging. So I have more digging to do and will post something if it involves the SDK.
