At the moment, if you click anywhere on the snap mode indicator, you get a drop-down menu.
Instead of this, I’d like to be able to select the snap mode directly by clicking on the relevant icon in that area (retaining the menu by clicking on the drop-down menu triangle).
I would also like to be able to combine modes by CTRL+clicking to toggle a mode on/off while leaving the others unaltered; in other words you could select a single snap type quickly and directly, and combine them using CTRL+click to add/remove a selection from what you already had.
At the moment the way it works is contrary to other areas of the UI?
