I desperately need this - and have done for years. The number of times I scroll around a big mix and totally mess it up in the process due to unwanted mouse interaction… If I want to move a fader or panner I will grab it. You can turn off such interactions (region volume and fades) in the project, so why not in the mixer? Madness.
