Disabling automatic dynamic linking and grouping project-wide?

I’m copying up a contemporary piece in which none of the parts ever really line up with each other fully and most of the dynamics are a bit more nuanced than just being linked perfectly to notes and each other.

Does anyone know if there’s a way to just disable dynamic grouping for this project (other than putting them all in and then just selecting all and ungrouping them)?

You can’t disable grouping directly, but if you input the dynamics one at a time then they won’t be grouped unless immediate and gradual dynamics abut. Linking (between staves) when inputting or pasting dynamics can be disabled via the Preferences dialog.
