Disabling the "fly-in_ menus at edge of windows

Anyone know how to get rid of the ridiculous menus that appear when your mouse goes near the edge of a windows? Things like “Inspector”, “Racks”, “Status/Info/Overview” line. I can’t see any point to these, if I want to open those panels I’ll just use the hotkeys, I don’t want yet more eye-candy getting in the way of getting work done

Agreed - please let us disable this.

I hate them - they look cheesy, last minute, and you have click outside them to de-select. Much rather have the ‘point-boundaries’ as they are implemented on the updated transport bar for the punch in/out section. Biggest peeve of this update for me, actually.
