Disappearing rests in empty bars

Hi, I have included a screenshot of several empty bars in a string section where the rests seem to have disappeared but only in the strings!
Any ideas please.

Select the last note/rest before the empty bars, and check the Properties panel – if the “Ends voice” property is active, deactivate it.

(Check your Trumpet and Trombone too.)
