Disappointed with Cubasis 3 - worse performance with external USB equipment (Digitone)

I’m on an iPad Air 2 and I just upgraded to Cubasis 3 and was very disappointed to see the performance notably worse for me.
I’m running Digitone in via AUM or Audiobus. The latency was unusable and lots of digital drop out.

I appreciate my iPad is a little on the older side, but I thought Cubasis 3 was supposed to have been a rebuild to make everything work better? Worth a punt, but I’m reverting back to Cubasis 2 and getting a refund.

Anyone else have any experience with this?

Actually, the overall app performance should be improved with the lates v3.2 release.

Please give these steps a try:

  • Load an empty project
  • Close all running apps, including Cubasis
  • Shut down the iPad

Do you still encounter issues when using Cubasis after restarting the iPad? If so, could these be related to a specific 3rd party AU app?

Thanks Lars. I’ve since deleted C3 and received my refund so I’ll hold off for now. Sorry I couldn’t be more help troubleshooting this.
