Display MIDI cc value for a VST control?

Apologies in advance if this has been asked/answered already. I’ve tried RTFM, but got nowhere.

Is there a way to display what CC value is attached to a VST’s on-screen controls?

I’d like to use AutoLFO more often, but I never know which CC value to point it at in order to reach the parameter I want to automate.

For example, let’s say I want an LFO to control the gain on one (or more) of the bands on the Fabfilter Pro-Q (which has no inbuilt LFO, but can be automated). How do I get that up and running with AutoLFO? Or should I approach it another way?

Plugins will usually have a list of default MIDI CCs in the manual, or allow you to assign a MIDI CC by right clicking a plugin control.
