Displaying Track Colour on Reference Track

I’m trying to make an easy visual cue to distinguish between my reference tracks. I can select colours for each tracks and the clips display that colour when I monitor by clicking the ear (listen button).

However, the track itself doesn’t display its colour and furthermore the clips don’t display the colour when other tracks are being monitored.

Is there a way to either:

  1. Set the entire reference track to a colour that is always visible
  2. Ensure the clips within each reference track always display their colour regardless of whether they are being monitored or not?

Thanks

By design, when any track is not audible, it is grayed out. I don’t think this should be changed.
When the reference track is activated for monitoring, then all colors are displayed.

Something that could change in the future, is that the track header could be colored in any case (track muted or not), in which case the reference track will be more easily identified.

Thank you for the info, the greying out does make sense yes - you’re right not to change that actually.

Sounds great, I would definitely love the option to have a coloured track header in the future  but for now this all works perfectly fine anyway. Thanks
