Distance between system text and staff objects

I’m trying to get a slightly bigger distance between system text and the first object it encounters below itself.
Changing Engraving Options > Text > Minimum distance from protruding items brings no result.

  1. is this because those options govern only staff text objects?
  2. is there a way to achieve what I would like to?

The Minimum distance from protruding items value in Engraving Options applies both to staff- and system-attached text. There’s no way to set the value differently for different kinds of text, however.

Thanks for confirming.
I got confused and considered Tempo text as a text object.
Instead, there is a dedicated option in Engraving Options > Tempo > Vertical Position.
