I’m on Cubase Elements 15, I just got a new computer and some of my audio sounds distorted or crackly. I’m using the exact same mixer and setup as I did on my old PC, and this has never been a problem until now. I have the ART mini USB mixer, wired headphones (plugged into my computer), and I use Asio4all. I played the files on Google Drive and my computer and they sounded fine, so I know the issue is my Cubase setup. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I wouldn’t recommend using the inbuilt audio interface but seen as you are have you optimised the new pc for audio? What buffer size are you using? Have you tried a higher buffer size?
Double sound source out maybe? Check your studio settings and also latency
