DJ MIXE With Cubase

I have a Midi Controller (AKAI MPK Mini MK2). I would like to use the knobs to cut the lows, mids and highs from the DJ EQ (Cubase PlugIn). But that only works as long as I’m on the relevant track.
I would like my midi controller to have the DJ EQ plug-in working on two audio tracks at the same time.

Question put differently: How can a midi controller work on two (audio) tracks SIMULTANEOUSLY?
How does it work?

Why not just put the plug on a group track or the master track and control it there.?

Its make no sense to EQ both tracks at the same time.
