Just a quick follow up…. I finally was able to record DMX data into VSTL 
using 2 PC’s and ArtNet.
It really is a game changer been able to create a light show in a Light App (Freestyler in my case), then trigger the light cues/scenes using a VSTL Midi track to record DMX instructions into a VSTL DMX Track.
Result: Perfect Synced light show - backing track - Layers - Lyrics, etc.
