I have a DMX Track that generally works fine. In this Track I copied a Region, that it should play the same things twice. My problem is, that the 1st Region (green) plays as it should but the 2nd (red) only plays the first Events.
Now comes the weird stuff:
If I delete the 2nd Region then the 1st Region is kind of stuck with the first Events (btw. all following Regions play normal as they should).
If I don’t delete the 2nd Region but add another (empty) Region afterwards, the 2nd Regions plays as it should.
I use a eurolite USB-DMX512-PRO on a Mac mini M2 16GB with macOS Sequoia 15.7.9
I add the Project that does not work for me:
DMX Test.zip (1,8 MB)
Can someone reproduce this and tell me what to do or how to troubleshoot this.
Thanks in advance
Pit
Anyone advice … I’m stuck with this for two days in at least two Songs and don’t understand what happens.

I sent it to the DMX Mixer and can replicate the problem - weird!
Your 2nd section is shorter than the first even though it looks like section 2 is the same as section 1 in content. If you delete section 2 and copy/paste section 1 again it still doesn’t work until you glue them together.
Thanks for testing.
Didn‘t work when I tried it
Thats because I shortened it to have space to put another empty section after it … if you do that it also works - but makes no sense to me.

Did you copy/paste again? Regardless of that the section BEFORE section 1 stops working if the glue works.
I notice that when you hit pause in a non-working section the faders catch up. Very peculiar.
One for the devs methinks.
Yes copy/pasted again without success.
And did you try to delete the second one? If I do it the first one doesn‘t work anymore

No - but I have now and you’re right.

Got you a workaround (here anyways) !
Create a second DMX track. Drag your ok and not ok sections into it and ALSO the one before ok.
Thanks for testing this - works, but it’s still weird, because I must only move these 3 to work and can’t move all.
I hope the Devs take a look at this.

.. yes, we are on it. It’s bit deeper than we thought. Please give us some more time. But meanwhile you can fix it.
Open the DMX-Editor for the “ok” clip (53.1 - 57.1)
Scroll to 41.1
Do you see the events at 41.1? They are out of the playable range. Delete those events and the “not ok!” will be playback correctly.
Yes?
See you,
Michael.
Yes, can confirm. If I delete these Events in the „following“ Section the previous plays as it should. Thanks I can work with this in the meantime
Can it be that I created this using a Split or do you have an idea how to avoid this for now?
