Do I have to customize the colors for the fader cap and everything or do I have a bug?

Thanks, that worked

That seems very odd indeed. Sorry, I’m out of ideas.
Safe Mode with Preferences disabled should disregard your preferences files and start with all default settings.
For a second I thought it might be a Mac permission thing, but that seems farfetched now.

Is this blank by default too ?

Yes, it is.

I actually formated my whole SSD over night to do a fresh install and it is exactly the same as before. The latest version definitely has some issues.

I’m having the same problem, all my group and fx fader caps are white.
I’m trying to add those lines to UserPreferences.xml, but Cubase deletes them when the program starts.

Do I need to put them exactly in some specific place of the file?

The file should already be in this location. Just open it with a text editor and use the search function to look for “FaderColorPreferences” and then replace this whole block

Oh I see what the problem is. I’m in Cubase Elements and it doesn’t have the option to change fader colors.
Group fader caps were always blue, and FX fader caps were always purple, never needed or wanted to change those colors.
