Do I need a USB to activate Wavelab?

After 30 days of trial I would like to purchase the Wavelab elements.

However as the following link says I need a USB to activate the software.

I am so confused by this step. Don’t they have a simple activation code for that?

one more question: Can I export the Cubase mixdown file as wav. and then send it to another computer (without Cubase installed) for audio processing in the Wavelab?

That’s for the full version of Wavelab, Wavelab Elements (the one you have) doesn’t require any hardware to work. Getting an USB eLicenser isn’t a bad idea though, as it allows you to run Wavelab Elements on any computer you have access to.
