Running an MR816x on Windows 10, new install.
This message shows up:
“Do you want to select Yamaha Steinberg FW ASIO as MASTER ASIO driver?”
Do I say Yes or No, and what does it do?
It’s the driver you must have installed for your audio interface so I would say yes unless you have another audio interface which has a driver as well.
Well, I’m trying to understand what “MASTER” ASIO driver means, vs not a “Master”.
Since Cubase asks there must be a difference in function. But searching the forum, manual, or Google, I can not find anything on this.
It just a generic question, dont read into it there. As you know Cubase can ONLY use ONE audio driver at a time, hence the question
