Frankly, the most exciting part of updating to version 9 for me was the docked transport. The floating one always seems to be in my way.
I’ve got a dual screen setup, and have my project window on a 40" TV, and my mixer window below, on a 27" tilted touchscreen. My (floating) transport has always lived near the bottom of the (lower) 27". I was bummed to discover they decided the docked transport should only be attached to the project window, since most people probably don’t work off a single screen, and the docking location seems to be a decision the user should be able make.
