As the title of the thread suggests, does it? I have Cubase 10 LE at the moment and I am thinking of upgrading to Artist today. However, I want to know if it’s possible to use expression maps or not before I make the purchase. One article says you cannot but I have also read threads on reddit saying you can etc.
According to the following comparison chart, expression maps are only available in Pro. So, unfortunately, you won’t find them in Artist.
Ahh right. Yeah Pro seems like a lot of money for this feature. I’ll probably just grab Artist for access to more tracks and just use key swtiches as per.
If you use a lot of sample libraries (and I do) it’s money well spent.
It’s just an unusual feature to put away behind a pro plan when Reaper has something similar but for free. But anyhow, I will one day grab Pro in the future in a crossgrade sale when my wallet is a bit less poorly. It would be different if this sale went on until the end of the month when I get paid, but sadly my pay day is Friday and this sale ends tomorrow. Unless Steinberg do Cyber Monday sales in which case I’ll hold off till then.
I still have a 70% voucher I don’t need. It allows you to buy a new license of Cubase Pro for about 180€. If you like, I can send it to you.
