Does Cubase 12 really run natively on Apple M1?

The website says Cubase 12 runs natively on apple silicon. However when I launch Cubase 12 on an M1 mac on the launch splash screen it says “Cubase 12.0.40 Build 137 (Rosetta 2)”. The rosetta box is not ticked when I get info on the cubase app. If I launch it on my Intel mac the spash screen says “Cubase 12.0.40 Build 137 (Intel)”. So it seems to know what it’s running on. My question is why does it say “Rosetta 2” when I launch it on my M1 mac?

While installing my plugins I saw that v13 is VST3 only. To run VST2 plugs I read that you had to run in Rosetta mode for access them on the M1.
