So I’m looking at new DAWs and I’m leaning towards Cubase since I’ve already used briefly with success, but Logic just came out with their Smart Tempo feature which automatically manages tempo across all the content in a project without clicks or metronomes. I was wondering is this feature also available in Cubase 9 (or earlier versions)?

Yes, Cubase has a Tempo Detection feature. It’s not applied automatically, but you can trigger it on any Audio/MIDI material.
And yes, any MIDI/Audio material can follow the tempo, even if the original loop is in different tempo. Enable the Musical Mode of the Audio event.
