Does Cubase Media Bay read all samples? Some of mine don´t work :/

See photo: those Cymatic samples (wav like all the others) won´t be played or used. What to do? I thought all kind of wav´s will be read by Media Bay in Cubase 12?
thanks, matt

Hi,

No filters?

Yes, no filters and “all files” in the search.

On occasion I’ve had the results area show empty when I know that there is content there. It always resolves after I poke around changing things for a bit. Haven’t noticed anything that causes it or makes it stop. Seems likely a display problem, but who knows.

But in general I´m right that all WAVs or even MP3s (?) should be displayed in the media bay when folder chosen?

Same problem here. Was poking around last night and folders were empty.

I did Quick rescan and full rescan and refresh views and… nothing.

I’m not sure why but this happens with all my splice downloads.

If it helps - I fix it by unchecking the box and then rechecking it, then it scans properly. It’s no good just to uncheck the main folder, for some reason it only works to check the lowest directory level.

Come to think of it, I think it also happens with other sample packs too… in any case rather than re-scanning, try actually unchecking it.

Ok. but yeah
a) it should take any wav sound it doesnt matter what it is? but even like a song track in wav then? ;(
b) it also doesnt matter how many sub folders a folder has?
