Post title says everything. Why Groove Agent re-scans all the libraries it has when you load it? It didn’t do that in version 5. It only scanned the library when there were changes or the first time you ran it.
Hi BrunoDSL,
Groove Agent 6 scans its content every time you load a new instance, right. But that shouldn’t take longer than a second or two. Does it cause any trouble for your workflow?
Cheers,
Jan
As I mentioned in my post. This was not an issue in earlier versions of it. Now it takes as much time as it would if you were loading it for the first time after installation.
Hi BrunoDSL,
Can you post a short screen capture of it?
Essentially, this will be a reproduction of the same post I did on the HALion forums.
This is what happens when you load Groove Agent normally:

After the first one has been loaded, subsequent instances still do the same but they’re faster:

If you decide to delete all instances and start over, the same behavior happens. Note that the menu momentarily freezes before allowing me to load the instrument track again:
