does it work with 1394 on acer notebook ?

Hi!
I’m just looking for a new notebook to use with cubase 6.
I also would like to by a mr816 x.

So i heard that some 1394 plugs in notebooks are not compatible with hardware like mr816x.

The notebook i would like to buy, is an Acer Aasire Ethos AS8951G-2616G1.5TBnkk.

Does someone know, if this computer with its FireWire/i.LINK does work togheter with the mr816x ???

I always work with Acer notebooks, but I’m not familiar with this model. Perhaps you have a look for a model that also supports PMCIA express ?
