Does the free version of HALion Sonic SE come with any content?

I am able to get third party libraries activated just fine through the Steinberg License manager.

Unfortunately I can’t seem to get any of the libraries included with HALion to work at all. The following libraries came with my download:

As well as some impulses:

FCP_SMT_005_Reverence_ImpulseLibrary_01.vstsound
FCP_SMT_005_Reverence_ImpulseLibrary_03.vstsound
FCP_SMT_005_Reverence_ImpulseLibrary_04.vstsound

When I double click on them, the Library Manager opens and shows me a message saying:

No action was performed! The corresponding VST Sounds are already registered.

But nothing shows up in the Library Manager or inside of HALion Sonic.

Is this due to the fact that I only have the free version of HALion, or should I be able to activate these libraries and content?

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, but Halion Sonic SE 3 Free doesn’t include any content. Those files are dependencies that can be used by third party libraries.

Steinberg’s DAWs include exclusive content for Halion Sonic SE, including sample-based sounds primarily based on Yamaha’s classic workstations as well as hundreds of synth presets. These are different from the sounds included with the full version of Halion Sonic 3 or Halion 6.
