My suggestion is that if you are recording something, the autosave should be delayed until the recording finish. What happens now is that when I am recording something, sometimes the back-up feature launches and it ruins my recording. It should wait until I finish to avoid that.
Auto save is only active in stop mode, as far as I know ?
Yeah, that’s why Cubase can be non-responsive right after stopping if there is a pending Auto-Save.
Also Auto-Save can take longer than regular Save because Auto-Save creates a new file before saving the data, where Save just saves.
never ever had a problem with this. I love this feature.
Another great solution is keycommand STR+ALT+S (save Versions of the project)
