dorico 1.1 audio engine process died after 1.1 installation

Hi i can’t open Dorico, I downloaded and made a new fresh installation of Dorico and it crashes while starting leaving this message: audio engine process died.

i did reinstalled, and nothing, tryied removing the vst3 folder and the vst component as in one forum, but got the same problem.

Could you please zip up the folder /Users//Library/Preferences/VSTAudioEngine and post here. The log files will help us identifying the problem.

Interesting. When I installed Dorico the install screen gave the option to include the audio engine but seemed to suggest only the program update was needed.

Actually no, you have not the choice to only update Dorico and not the audio engine. But you could double check in under Help > About, it tells you the version number for each, Dorico and the audio engine. Both shall be at version 1.1.0.
