I downloaded Dorico Elements 2.2 demo to try it and entered the 1 month demo license I received by mail but it always decrement the “Steinberg all product” 10hours demo license I got with Cubase instead. How could I tell Dorico to use the right licence in e-licenser?
Is the “all product demo” license on a USB-eLicenser? If so, then unplug it before launching Dorico. The Dorico demo license is stored in the Soft-eLicenser on your harddrive and therefore does not require the USB dongle.
thanks Ulf, you are right, I added the trial license on the elicenser key instead of the Soft-eLicenser. I removed it from the dongle, unplugged the key from the USB port and ran Dorico again but now I can’t use the license as it was already used
Is there a way to generate a new one?
I can indeed, though I’m not sure you’ll be able to use it if you’ve already had a Dorico Elements trial code on your Soft-eLicenser. We can try, however.
