Dorico 3.5.12 update now released

We are pleased to announce the release of a minor update to Dorico 3.5, version 3.5.12, that fixes a small number of bugs and introduces support for Apple’s new M1-powered Macs, running under the Rosetta 2 translation environment.

Even if you are not running one of the latest Apple Silicon Macs, this update is recommended as it fixes a small number of important bugs. Full details of the included fixes are in the Dorico Version History PDF.

You can download Dorico 3.5.12 from Steinberg Download Assistant, or from the Dorico 3.5 Updates and Downloads page.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR WINDOWS USERS
If you were previously affected by the problem whereby certain VST plug-ins, especially NotePerformer or Kontakt, would not appear in Dorico, and you applied a fix provided by @Ulf manually, you will find that the Windows updater will not work correctly. In that case, please uninstall Dorico 3.5 via Programs and Features and then run the Dorico 3.5.12 Application Installer to reinstall Dorico 3.5.12. You do not need to uninstall any other component: just the main Dorico 3.5 package.

For a little bit more information about this update, and a future Universal version of Dorico that will run natively on the new ARM-based architecture, visit the Dorico blog.
