I believe it happens since the 4.01 update. I have to reconfigure manually the R shortcut for repeat every time I open the software. For a reason I can’t explain, it doesn’t save when I quit Dorico…
I’m on macOS Monterey.

What keyboard language are you using? What keyboard language is chosen in the Key Commands page of Preferences? Can you do Help > Create Diagnostic Report and attach a set of diagnostics so we can take a look at your settings?
I’m using the French Canadian keyboard and my “keyboard setting” is set per default. I discussed some problems with keyboard shortcuts in another thread.
I thought to open a new thread with this one, since it seemed for me to be something completely different from what I encountered so far. I don’t know why, but now it saves correctly. I think I copied an R from my browser and paste it in Dorico. Anyway, here is the Dorico Diagnostics.
