I had this thing pop-up. I wasn’t saving anything so I’m assuming it has to do with auto-saves.
Any ideas what causes it and how I might solve it?

Yes, it will be auto-save in the case of a project that isn’t activated for playback. See here for more info. Error Saving File in Dorico 4 - #7 by benwiggy
