Dorico 5.1.80 update now available

We have today released Dorico 5.1.80, a maintenance update that is free for existing users of Dorico Pro 5, Dorico Elements 5, and (of course) Dorico SE 5. Dorico for iPad (and its special version for educational institutions) have also been updated to version 5.1.80 today.

This update includes more than 40 bug fixes, and also brings improvements to VST plug-in scanning at application start-up. You can read all about the changes in this post on the Dorico blog:

To install the update, run Steinberg Download Assistant, and under My Product Downloads you will find the appropriate entry for whichever version of Dorico 5 you are running: you need only install Dorico 5.1.80 Application Installer.

On 16 January, we released a version 5.1.81 “hotfix” to fix a regression discovered in Dorico 5.1.80, namely that the mute buttons in the Mixer were inoperable. If you have downloaded Dorico 5.1.80 but have not yet downloaded Dorico 5.1.81, we recommend you do so at your earliest convenience.
