Alternatively (to prioritise Olympus over NP4 built-in choir), choose Olympus Micro via the Iconica Sketch NPPE within NP4, letting other sounds default to NP4 sounds.

PS I am long overdue upgrading macOS (from 10.14!) to let me use Dorico 5, but some may be interested to know that the Iconica Sketch NPPE works fine in Dorico 4 too 
I have Olympus Elements and Spitfire Originals choir, but find them virtually unusable for playback of my scores with choir in Dorico- or any other notation program, I suspect. I have Cubase 13 Elements, and they might work better there, but I don’t compose in a DAW. I defalut to NP; I can choose individual voices or sections. It’s not a particularly great sound either, of course, but is painless to use😏
Yes, there’s a long way to go in choir mock-ups. I’m hopeful that AI voice generation will come to our rescue before too long.
I hope too (this is less likely) that Steinberg amends the VST spec to allow the passing of lyrics into plug-ins.
While I’d love to see lyrics passed through to vocal plug-ins, the truth is that since each plug-in uses a different system, that is an almost impossible goal unless vocal plug-ins standardize, which doesn’t seem likely.
Yes, I agree, and for the idea to really take off, a number of plugin API owners (VST, AU etc) would probably have to agree on a standard too.
