Welcome to the forum, @pasqualetoscano01 . Sorry you’re having problems.
From the Help menu, create a diagnostic report and upload it here.
Did everything work before, or has it never worked?
Dorico Diagnostics.zip (309,7 KB)
Unfortunately there are no crash dumps in your diagnostic report. Can you take a look in C:/Users/39347/Documents/Steinberg/CrashDumps/
to see if there are any .dmp
files in there, and if so, zip them up and attach them here?
If the zip file is larger than 4MB, please upload it to a cloud storage provider and share a link here.
2024.12.23 10.01.36.243.zip (149,6 KB)
hope this is good
Thanks for attaching the crash dump, Pasquale. Are you seeing this message every time you run Dorico, or was it just a one-off?
If Dorico runs normally but you don’t get any sound, try changing the settings in Edit > Device Setup. In particular, make sure you have the Steinberg Built-in ASIO Driver device selected (unless you have your own dedicated audio hardware with its own driver).
The message appears every time. the settings are already like this. how can I do?
Looking at the crash dump in the debugger, it falls over in a file called Loader 64.dat which is part of the Noteperformer installation.
Are you using exclusively NotePerformer as playback instrument? Do you still have HALion Sonic installed. What if you start Dorico and create a project without NP, does still that error message come?
the playback works without noteperfomer. But i need it
Try to reinstall NotePerformer, please.
Do I have to do it directly or deleting noteperformer app previous?
Did you stop Dorico before running the NP installer? I would reboot the machine and try again installing.
ok now it works. thank you a lot!
