Dorico 6.10 Pro (Windows 11) isn’t recording scripts

Hey everyone,
Dorico 6.10 Pro (Windows 11) isn’t recording scripts, and of course it isn’t saving them either. What am I doing wrong? Is there a setting I need to adjust for this?
Thanks for your help.

Hi,

I can’t remember having any problem in 6.10 with that, nor having read any report in the forum, but I might have missed something.

You speak about recording macros, (Script Menu), right?

What is your process and what’s happening exactly?

I’m trying to record a macro so I can play it back later, but it’s not recording anything. After I stop recording, the save dialog box appears, but nothing is saved. The “Run Last Script” function isn’t working either.

Could it be a permission problem with the folder you’re trying to save to?

Jesper

The problem is maybe that this dialog that opens doesn’t automatically bring you to the correct folder.

In Windows, you must save your macros in:

C:\Users\*YOUR USER NAME*\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Dorico 6\Script Plug-ins

For Mac I don’t know, but other users will tell you!

For Mac it’s your user library->Application Support->Steinberg->Dorico 6->Script Plug-ins

Oh yeah, that was the reason. I had tried saving it in a different folder.Thanx
